The Broncos carried quarterback Zac Dysert on the 53-man roster last season, but this year, he’s part of the practice squad.

Dysert was cut yesterday, as they kept just Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler on the 53-man roster.

The former seventh-round pick was one of nine names the Broncos announced Sunday, leaving one spot open. All the guys they signed were waived yesterday after being in camp with the team this summer.

The other players signed were linebacker Shaquil Barrett, running back Kapri Bibbs, safety John Boyett, wide receiver Bennie Fowler, guard Vinston Painter, wide receiver Nathan Palmer, center Matt Paradis and tight end Gerell Robinson.
