Packers pick Chris Banjo for practice squad

Chris Banjo AP

The Packers brought back 10 familiar names to their practice squad, all guys who were with them in camp.

The list includes safety Chris Banjo, wide receiver Kevin Dorsey, center Garth Gerhart, wide receiver Alex Gillett, running back Michael Hill, linebcaker Adrian Hubbard, tight end Justin Perillo, defensive end Luther Robinson, tackle Jeremy Vujnovich and wide receiver Myles White.

Banjo played all 16 games for the Packers last year, starting one. Among the others Gillett is  notable because he made one of the most impressive plays of the preseason, a one-handed tip-drill-to-himself touchdown grab against the Raiders.

I would’ve preferred Perkins over Michael Hill.
    Younger halfback.

These spots change almost weekly. The first one out the door on the next roster move will be Hill.

Defensive Line 5 Datone Jones, Josh Boyd, Mike Daniels, Letroy Guion.

This D-line is such a joke. Please note how one of its starters is a player the Vikings cut. hahahahaha.

Some trolls won’t give up on trying to diminish the Packers D. It may not be perfect, but it is better than the Vikings. And when you add the fact the Packers own the Vikings, it’s all good.

    A. Gillette would be a # 1 receiver on the Browns team. I’m hoping Cleveland picks him up

The Packers signed Guion to a 1 year, $1 million deal with $100,000 guaranteed.

The Vikings signed washed-up Greg Jennings to a 5 year $45 millon deal with $17.8 million guaranteed.

    SKOLOLOLOLOL!

The last time the Packers snagged a D-lineman from the Vikings (Gilbert Brown), he played a key roll in the Packers winning a Super Bowl. If Guion doesn’t work out, work case scenario, the Packers are one for two in that department. Meanwhile, the Vikings continue to hold at zero for everything, and there’s no sign of that changing any time soon.

Kind of says, hey guys one of you are getting cut and were adding a replacement. The Pack will go with three QB’s. They clearly understand the O line is a piece of crap and Rogers will get killed so they need two backups.
