Report: Giants interested in Adam Snyder

Recent reports have indicated that the Giants are strongly considering placing guard Geoff Schwartz on injured reserve with the designation to return as a result of his dislocated toe.

If they did make such a move, they’d need to shore up their depth on the offensive line until Schwartz was ready to return to the lineup. Their plan to do that appears to include former 49ers guard Adam Snyder.

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that the Giants are “working to sign” Snyder as a free agent. Snyder would bring a wealth of experience to the Giants after making 87 starts for the 49ers and Cardinals since entering the league in 2005.

That would be a significant boost to their depth and it would also give them an option in the event right guard Brandon Mosley’s back continues to be a problem or if rookie Weston Richburg can’t handle the job of replacing Schwartz.

That a boy Reese! Scramble at the last minute to straighten out one of the most important units a team has!

He’s about an average players, but he can play all five spots on the OL. Jack of all trades, master of none.

Richburg will be fine. He’ll justify his being picked as the Giants’ #2 in the draft.

Don’t need him; don’t need anybody. We have history. Everybody calling for Coughflin & Eli’s head on a platter, when we all know that historically, we always win the big one that year. So, no, we don’t need any outside help. Just kick back, and let history repeat itself, and we’ll be just fine.

    Go Big Blue…

He fills a need as far as depth.Hopefully he won’t play because the people we have starting will stay healthy and most importantly play well.
