The Seahawks are mostly healthy, but will be without a pair of contributors when they open the season tomorrow night against the Packers.

According to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, cornerback Tharold Simon will miss some time with what Pete Carroll called “minor” knee surgery. Carroll said the procedure would be in the next few days.

Carroll didn’t specify a time frame for Simon’s recovery, but the Seahawks have an early bye after the third game, so that could be a reasonable guess.

The Seahawks will also be without running back Christine Michael, still sidelined with a hamstring problem. That will leave the running game to Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin, so they should be covered there.
