When Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney exited practice early during a joint session in Denver, no one ever said that he had sustained a concussion.

On Thursday, the first overall pick in the 2014 draft admitted that he had.

“I mean it was just something that happened on the field,” Clowney said, via Sports Radio 610 in Houston.

He said that he recovered from the concussion in less than two weeks. Clowney has received full clearance to play; he wasn’t listed at all on the team’s injury report for Wednesday, the first official Texans injury report of the season.
