Join PFT on NBCSN for two hours before the Seahawks and Packers start the 2014 season

There are just a few more hours to kill before the start of the NFL season and there’s no better way to kill a couple of them than by tuning into NBCSN at 5:30 p.m. ET for a special two-hour edition of Pro Football Talk.

We’ll have thoughts about the matchup between the Seahawks and Packers from a¬†wide variety of sources, including Cris Collinsworth, Hines Ward, Rodney Harrison, Tony Dungy, Peter King, Dan Patrick and PFT‘s own Mike Florio. Those won’t be the only voices weighing in on the contest, however.

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and the starting quarterbacks for both teams — Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers — will also be on the program to help whet our appetites for the long-awaited return of football. With all that, there won’t be any rock left uncovered when it comes to getting you ready for Thursday night’s game and we’ll also have some time to cover all the biggest news from the rest of the league.

It all gets going at 5:30 p.m. ET and will roll right into the start of NFL Kickoff 2014 on NBC with Patrick and Bob Costas so join us as we ride out the final hours of the offseason.

Whether you like it, or don’t like it, learn to love it. We now dine with Kings and Queens, but for years were in the gutter eating Pork n Beans. We are who you wish your team was, we are the Seattle Seahawks. You see tonight, the difference between Champ and Chump. Rock out with your Hawk out.
