Turnovers killed the Dolphins in the first half against New England.

The shoe is on the other foot in the third quarter. Cameron Wake sacked and stripped Tom Brady on New England’s first possession of the third quarter and Louis Delmas recovered to set the Dolphins up in great field position. Ryan Tannehill capitalized on it with a touchdown strike to Mike Wallace, turning around their own first half difficulties, and a 20-20 tie with just over eight minutes gone by in the third.

The Dolphins had a prime scoring chance on their first drive of the second half, but Tannehill and Lamar Miller looked to be on different pages on a third down incompletion. Coincidence or not, Knowshon Moreno was in the game when the Dolphins offense returned and he ran for 20 yards to set up Wallace’s score.

Moreno has 92 yards overall for Miami, so he should see more time as Miami has found its groove now that they aren’t handing the ball over to the Patriots.
