The way the Falcons and Saints were pinballing points, you wanted the overtime to last longer.

But the Falcons just won it 37-34 on Matt Bryant’s 52-yard field goal with 13:17 left in the extra period.

The Falcons took advantage of a Marques Colston fumble to end the game with the three-pointer, after the teams traded scores throughout the day.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan finished the game 31-of-43 for 448 yards and three touchdowns.

Their offense was diverse, with nine different players catching a pass, and five of them topping 50 yards receiving.

Even return man Devin Hester, who has teased with his speed but never able to produce as a scrimmage player, had five catches for 99 yards.
