Julius Thomas has three TDs, and the rout is on

Yeah, I think we can safely say the Broncos can weather the absence of suspended wide receiver Wes Welker.

They’re up 24-0 on the Colts now, with Peyton Manning hitting tight end Julius Thomas for a three touchdowns.

That puts him on pace to score 96 times this year, which would be a record.

Manning’s spreading the ball around effectively, finding Emmanuel Sanders for a 40-yard gain to set up the latest touchdown.

He has 199 passing yards at the two-minute warning in the first half, completing 16-of-22 passes.
