The Seahawks have filled their open roster spot with a reserve offensive lineman.

The club has signed tackle Andrew McDonald from the Panthers’ practice squad, the team announced Monday.

In addition to spending 12 total games on the Panthers’ practice squad in 2013-14, the 25-year-old McDonald was on the Dolphins’ practice squad throughout the 2012 regular season.

McDonald had testicular cancer surgery this spring. He was also “Player A” in the Wells Report, which alleged McDonald was the subject of bullying as a member of the Dolphins.

But now, McDonald is on a regular season roster for the first time his NFL career.
