Last week, Cardinals defensive end John Abraham abruptly left the team. Abraham reportedly fears long-term cognitive problems after his latest concussion, given that he reportedly had been suffering from memory loss before the latest concussion. Abraham’s coach painted a different picture, explaining that Abraham said his heart was no longer in the game.

Whether it’s Abraham’s brain or the thing that pumps blood to it, Abraham is gone and he may not be back.

According to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, Abraham isn’t expected to make a final decision this weekend.Abraham, a 15-year veteran, has 133.5 career sacks. That puts him at ninth on the all-time list, four behind John Randle and Richard Dent, six behind Jason Taylor, and eight behind Michael Strahan.
