The Jaguars changed quarterbacks, even though Chad Henne wasn’t nearly the only problem.

So with a defense that has given up more points than any team in the league, you had to figure changes were coming there too.

According to Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union, the Jaguars are making several defensive changes to try to shake things up.

They’re replacing free safety Winston Guy with Josh Evans, and Otto linebacker LaRoy Reynolds with J.T. Thomas. They may need more than that, as they’re last in the league in total yards, passing yards and rushing yards allowed as well.

They just got safety Johnathan Cyprien back last week from his concussion in the opener, and they spent heavily this offseason trying to add pass-rushers.

But injuries have crushed them on both sides of the ball this year, which is why rookie Blake Bortles might fear for his own safety.
