The Jets have Calvin Johnson to contend with this Sunday and it seems they will have to do it without their best cornerback.

Dee Milliner missed practice again on Thursday as he continues to battle the quadriceps injury that was added to his previous hamstring woes last week. As a result, coach Rex Ryan said, via Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, that it “doesn’t look real good” for Milliner to suit up against the Lions.

That would make three missed games in the first four weeks for Milliner and another stiff challenge for Antonio Allen and Darrin Walls at cornerback.

Ryan was more hopeful about wide receiver Eric Decker’s chances of playing after he was forced to leave Monday night’s loss with the hamstring injury that he suffered int he loss to Green Bay. Decker didn’t practice on Thursday, but he got the green light to play after a very limited week last time so it’s not time to count him out yet.
