Giants middle linebacker Jon Beason was hoping he’d be back this week, and able to play through the pain in his foot.
He apparently won’t.
According to Kim Jones of the NFL Network, Beason won’t play today against the Falcons.
The Giants have turned things around in recent weeks without Beason on the field, but for the long run, they need the boost he provides to their defense.
So in that regard, he might be better off giving it another week.
