It didn’t take the Vikings long to decide they preferred Chandler Harnish to McLeod Bethel-Thompson.
So it only makes sense they made the roster move they made.
According to Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Vikings re-signed Harnish to the practice squad, and got rid of Bethel-Thompson to make the move.
Bethel-Thompson had been there two weeks longer, but when the Vikings needed an emergency backup last Thursday, they promoted Harnish after he had been there two days.
They’re confident starter Teddy Bridgewater is going to be well enough to play this week, so they can lean on Christian Ponder as their backup.
The Vikings also signed wide receiver Donte Foster and safety Pierre Warren to the practice squad.
