The Titans are signing a veteran reserve offensive tackle.

According to John Glennon of the Nashville Tennessean, the Titans have reached a deal with Will Svitek, who spent training camp with the Bengals.

Svitek (6-6, 305) has appeared in 74 regular season games, making 18 starts. His most extensive action came in 2011, when he started 10 regular season contests and one playoff game for Atlanta. The 32-year-old Svitek played 13 games for New England a season ago, making two starts.

The signing of Svitek comes with the Titans down a tackle after losing Michael Roos to a season-ending knee injury. Svitek and Byron Stingly will provide depth behind starting tackles Taylor Lewan (left) and Michael Oher (right).

Svitek will take the roster spot of tight end Brett Brackett, who was waived on Monday.
