The Giants and Cowboys have played a lot of close games that weren’t decided until the final minutes over the last few years and it looks like we’re headed for another one on Sunday.

The two teams are tied at 14 after 30 minutes of action as both Eli Manning and Tony Romo have thrown two touchdowns to keep things even at the break. Romo threw an interception when Dez Bryant fell down running his pattern, but tied the game with a spin move and strike to Terrence Williams after Manning threw a touchdown pass to Daniel Fells one play after the turnover. Manning also threw a touchdown to Odell Beckham, but has had a few moments of miscommunication with the rookie that thwarted other possible big gains.

Dallas got a slight scare late in the second quarter when DeMarco Murray fell down without contact 21 yards into a run. He got his left ankle retaped and is expected back on the field when action resumes in the third quarter. That’s good for the Cowboys as Murray is on his way to another big day after running 13 times for 73 yards in the first half.

Less positive for the Cowboys has been the play of Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul. He’s beaten their offensive line for two sacks and left tackle Tyron Smith drew a flag for holding as well, so there may not be another offensive player of the week award in his future.
