The Ravens are going to have to make do at cornerback for a few weeks.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said that former first-rounder Jimmy Smith would miss a few weeks with a sprained foot suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Bengals, via Clifton Brown of CSNBaltimore.com.

The sprain is not of the dreaded Lisfranc variety, but his absence will force the Ravens to adjust. Chykie Brown was inactive yesterday, leaving Dominique Franks to fill a starting role.

Franks was signed when Asa Jackson was placed on IR/designated for return earlier this month, and he’ll be out until early December.
