Chiefs running back Knile Davis came through at the right time, and was rewarded for it.

Davis was named AFC special teams player of the week, after his 99-yard kickoff return touchdown against the Rams.

The dash came one the opening kickoff of the third quarter, and broke open what was a close game which turned into a Chiefs rout.

It was his second kickoff return touchdown, and he’s one of five players with a pair of 99-plus yard scores in each of his first two seasons.
