San Francisco guard Mike Iupati will be back on the field on Sunday.

Iupati, who missed the 49ers’ Week Seven against the Broncos after suffering a concussion in Week Six against the Rams, has been cleared to return.

That’s a boost for the 49ers’ offensive line, which missed Iupati in the loss to Denver. Joe Looney was starting in Iupati’s left guard space while Iupati was out.

The 49ers lost center Daniel Kilgore to a broken leg in the game against the Broncos, so they were particularly thin in the middle of their line. Kilgore is done for the season, but Iupati is now back.
