There’s a reason teams end up with 1-6 records.

The Buccaneers are doing every thing they can to keep the Browns in this game, and just handed them a 16-10 lead in the third quarter.

After holding the Browns in the red zone, the Bucs gifted them a first down when defensive end William Gholston jumped into the neutral zone. Officials initially announced that it was on defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, but Bucs coach Lovie Smith was giving Gholston an earful on the sidelines.

So instead of a 12-10 lead, the Browns are up 16-10 on the error-prone Bucs, after Brian Hoyer hit Terrance West for a short touchdown pass.
