Ravens take advantage of field position for early lead on Steelers

Torrey Smith Shares Protein Packed Breakfast With Students

BALTIMORE, MD - FEBRUARY 08: Torrey Smith shares a protein packed breakfast, including milk, with students in support of the Breakfast Blitz campaign. The initiative is a partnership between the “got milk?” Campaign and Fuel Up to Play 60, providing $250,000 in grants to local schools across the country to help give kids greater access to a healthy breakfast. The event took place at Chase Elementary School on February 8, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland. (Photo by Leigh Vogel/Getty Images for Got Milk?)

Torrey Smith got the score, but Jacoby Jones got him closer.

The Ravens jumped out to a 7-0 lead over the Steelers on Smith’s 35-yard touchdown reception from Joe Flacco.

Getting Torrey acclimated to the offense has been a bit of a challenge this year with the addition of Steve Smith, but they’re off to a good start tonight.

But it was a quick study in field position, as Jones had a 25-yard punt return to make the job easier.

It’s a cold night and you’d think it wouldn’t be friendly to the passers, but Flacco has the Ravens out early over the guy who threw for approximately 1,346,879 yards last week. The Steelers haven’t matched, with a pair of three-and-outs.
