If you’re going to be a specialist in the NFL, you better be really good at it.

Cardinals cornerback Justin Bethel is, and has been rewarded for it.

He was named NFC special teams player of the week for blocking a field goal during Sunday’s win over the Cowboys.

As noted by Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic, it’s his third NFL blocked kick, after he blocked nine in college.

He also serves as the Cardinals gunner, and is the third player on the team to win the weekly award this year, along with kicker Chandler Catanzaro and return man Ted Ginn.
