An Eagles secondary reserve with some starting experience is inactive for Monday night’s game vs. Carolina.

Safety Earl Wolff, who started for Philadelphia a week ago at Houston, is among the seven inactives announced by the club on Monday night. Wolff started in place of Nate Allen, who is back in the lineup against the Panthers.

Wolff has played in seven games with the one start for the Eagles in 2014. He also made six starts as a rookie a season ago.

Also inactive for the Eagles is wide receiver Jeff Maehl, who caught a pair of passes in the win against the Texans in Week Nine. Maehl was probable with a foot injury.

The Eagles’ other inactives are quarterback Nick Foles (collarbone), defensive end Taylor Hart, offensive tackle Dennis Kelly, center Julian Vandervelde and safety Jaylen Watkins.

The Eagles also announced that Matt Tobin will start at right guard in place of Todd Herremans, who is out for the season with a biceps injury.

The Panthers’ inactives are cornerback Bene Benwikere, wide receiver Philly Brown, offensive tackle David Foucault, safety Robert Lester, tailback Chris Ogbonnaya, offensive tackle Mike Remmers and offensive guard Trai Turner. Benwikere and Turner had been ruled out with ankle injuries, while Brown (concussion) was probable.
