The Chiefs are down a pair of wide receivers entering Sunday’s game vs. Seattle.

A.J. Jenkins (shoulder) and Donnie Avery (groin) have been both been ruled out for Week 11. Avery (14 catches, 156 yards) has been out since end of September, while Jenkins (nine catches, 93 yards) has appeared in all nine previous games for 6-3 Kansas City, which has the unenviable task of dealing with the Seahawks’ strong secondary on Sunday.

With Jenkins and Avery out, the Chiefs are down to four healthy receivers: Dwayne Bowe, Frankie Hammond, Junior Hemingway and Albert Wilson. According to Adam Teicher of ESPN.com, Hammond, a rookie from Florida, will start opposite of Bowe on Sunday.

The Chiefs also have some injury concerns at tight end, with Anthony Fasano (knee) questionable after not practicing all week. However, Travis Kelce (ribs) is probable after a third straight full practice Friday. The club also has the newly signed Phillip Supernaw at the position.

The Chiefs have some pass-catching practice squad depth if needed, with receivers Armon Binns and Fred Williams and tight end Branden Bolden available to be promoted.
