Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger has outplayed Pittsburgh Steelers veteran Ben Roethlisberger through three quarters, but the Steelers remain within reach to start the fourth quarter.

Mettenberger’s tossed his second touchdown pass of the night to tight end Chase Coffman to extend the Titans lead to 24-13 with 3:42 left in the third quarter.

However, the Steelers answered back with their first touchdown drive of the night. Pittsburgh marched 72 yards on eight plays with Le’Veon Bell scoring on a 5-yard touchdown run to close the gap to 24-20 on the first play of the fourth quarter.

The Steelers have left several points on the board on the night. Roethlisberger underthrew Martavis Bryant when Bryant had clearly beaten cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson on what should have been a touchdown. Roethlisberger also misfired on another potential touchdown pass to Antonio Brown that was intercepted by Jason McCourty in the end zone.
