The Colts shuffled up the makeup of their defense on Monday, bringing back a former member of the team a week after letting him go.

Linebacker Victor Butler is back in Indianapolis and the team has waived defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles. Butler initially signed with the team in October and played two games for the team before briefly getting the boot from the roster. Butler has two tackles in those appearances.

Quarles landed with the Colts in September after stints with the Giants and Patriots. He also played two games for the Colts this season, recording a tackle and a sack as a reserve on the defensive line.

The Colts got defensive tackle Arthur Jones back in the lineup agains the Jaguars in Week 12, the Colts likely feel they are deep enough up front on defense without Quarles.
