Ravens outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil could make a case for defensive player of the year.
So it’s hardly a surprise he gets the weekly award.
Dumervil was named AFC defensive player of the week, after his 3.5-sack performance against the Dolphins last week.
That pushed his total for the season to a league-high 16.0, which is also a Ravens franchise record.
He’s notched 9.0 of those sacks in the last five games, as the Ravens try to push for a playoff berth.
