For the second straight year, the Colts are AFC South champions.

Two Andrew Luck first-half TD passes were the difference as the Colts grinded to a 17-10 victory over game-but-hurting Houston on Sunday in Indianapolis.

In defeat, the Texans lost quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to a broken leg. Rookie Tom Savage completed 10-of-19 passes for 127 yards in relief, but he committed a pair of turnovers. Savage also appeared to be shaken up on the Texans’ next-to-last offensive play. In the biggest blow, the Texans had a potential game-tying touchdown run by Arian Foster nullified by a holding penalty on wide receiver DeVier Posey early in the fourth quarter.

A Luck miscue led to the game’s first points, with Texans safety Kendrick Lewis returning an interception for a 27-yard TD to give Houston a 7-0 lead. However, the Colts (10-4) would bounce back, with Luck hitting Hakeem Nicks for a 26-yard touchdown to tie the game early in the second quarter.

On the next series, the Texans lost Fitzpatrick, who was carted off after being tripped up by Colts linebacker Jonathan Newsome.

Savage was shaky early, losing a fumble on a handoff. The Colts capitalized, as Luck found Dwayne Allen for a three-yard TD to give Houston a 14-7 lead.

From there, the Colts were able to hold the Texans safe.
