Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson didn’t get clearance to return from his concussion during the week and it looks like things didn’t improve all that much on Saturday either.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Johnson will miss Sunday’s game against the Colts as a result of the head injury he suffered in last Sunday’s victory over the Jaguars. Johnson took a blow to the head from Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith, who was fined for the hit by the league during the week.

With Johnson and tight end Garrett Graham out, the Texans will be putting a lot of their passing game on wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins’s shoulders against the Colts. Hopkins will likely see a lot of cornerback Vontae Davis, who is expected to be in the lineup after missing last week’s game while dealing with a concussion of his own.

Johnson leads the Texans with 69 catches this season, but is averaging a career-low 10.7 yards per catch as Hopkins has been responsible for the bigger plays through the air in 2014.
