Titans add trick-shot artist Alex Tanney to practice squad

Since the Titans made an entire season disappear, maybe it’s only right they signed a guy who can do tricks.

To fill in for a run of injured quarterbacks, the Titans signed quarterback Alex Tanney to their practice squad, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.

He’s best known for his trick-shot videos, but has kicked around enough to be able to help them get through two more weeks of practices. He’s been with the Chiefs, Cowboys, Browns and Buccaneers.

The Titans had to sign Jordan Palmer yesterday to back up Charlie Whitehurst, after Jake Locker joined Zach Mettenberger on injured reserve.

The Titans also placed tight end Brett Brackett on injured reserve and signed tight end Matthew Mulligan.
