Report: Bills request interview with Greg Roman

Greg Roman

The Buffalo Bills continue to add to their list of candidates to replace Doug Marrone.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, the Bills have requested permission to speak with San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman about their head coaching position.

Despite the departure of head coach Jim Harbaugh, Roman is still currently under contract with the 49ers and the Bills have to request permission to speak with him about the job. Roman has also interviewed with Tampa Bay regarding their offensive coordinator position.

Roman joins Seattle coordinators Darrell Bevell and Dan Quinn, Cincinnati offensive coordinator Hue Jackson, Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin, Denver offensive coordinator Adam Gase, San Diego offensive coordinator Frank Reich, New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, Philadelphia offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and former Washington head coach Mike Shanahan as candidates Buffalo has sought, or already completed, interviews with.
