After two years out of coaching, Chan Gailey once again will have a job in the NFL.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, Gailey will join the New York Jets as the offensive coordinator under new head coach Todd Bowles.
Gailey has not coached in the league since being let go as head coach of the Buffalo Bills following the 2012 season.
Gailey was also a candidate for the same role with the Cleveland Browns following the departure of Kyle Shanahan from their staff.
Gailey has spent 18 years coaching in the NFL for the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and Bills in a multitude of roles.
