There’s still more than a week to go before Super Bowl XLIX kicks off in Glendale, Arizona so there’s only so much to glean from injury reports for Friday’s practice, but good news is better than bad news and the Seahawks got a bit of it to close out the week.

Safety Earl Thomas missed the first two practices of the week as a result of the shoulder injury that briefly knocked him out of the NFC Championship game, but he returned to limited work on Friday. The teams also gave designations as if the game were being played this weekend and the Seahawks listed Thomas as questionable, although that would seem like a pessimistic view of his chances of playing given Thomas’s vow to play and the fact that he’s able to practice.

Right guard J.R. Sweezy (ankle) was the only player not to practice, although he was listed as probable so the team doesn’t seem to concerned. Cornerback Richard Sherman (elbow), right tackle Justin Britt (knee) and long snapper Clint Gresham (neck) all participated fully and also drew probable tags.

On the Patriots side, center Bryan Stork was a limited participant for the second straight day after missing the AFC title game with a knee injury. He was listed as questionable, along with cornerback Brandon Browner (knee), linebacker Dont’€™a Hightower (shoulder), defensive tackle Chris Jones (elbow), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder/toe) and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga (foot).

Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) is the only other player on the injury report, although there’s no need for deflated hopes as a result. Brady drew his typical probable designation after a full week of practice.
