Getty ImagesIn our first of umpteen-and-counting items about the Shady-for-Kiko trade, it was noted that it’s unclear whether running back LeSean McCoy will welcome a trade from Philadelphia to Buffalo.
He possibly won’t.
Josina Anderson of ESPN, citing an unnamed source close to LeSean McCoy, reports that McCoy is “frustrated” by the news that he’ll be sent to the Bills.
“He’s a Pennsylvania kid,” the source told Anderson. “He’s never played football outside of Pennsylvania — high school, college, pro. So of course he’s not happy. Sounds like it’s pretty final to me unless LeSean is refusing to go to Buffalo.”
Of course, refusing to go to Buffalo would mean not earning $10.25 million in 2015, ultimately being cut by the Eagles, and then being forced to find $10.25 million on the open market.
“It’ll be interesting to see how this process plays itself out because he’s an interesting individual,” the source said. “In your mind, when you think of Buffalo you think of cold and losing games. It’s not like it’s the Philadelphia market where you’re always on [TV] and you’re playing for like the division title or that type of thing.”
Bills coach Rex Ryan likely believes that he’ll be able to persuade McCoy to give it a try, and Rex definitely has the ability to do that. But McCoy may still balk, which means that the Bills then will have to decide whether to go through with the deal.
The deal can’t be finalized until 4:00 p.m. ET on March 10. Before then, either side can decline to proceed. And if McCoy makes it clear that he has no desire to play in Buffalo, that could be enough for the Bills to walk away, minimizing any style points they’d lose by reneging on the tentative swap.
Pay me 10 million and I’ll relocate to Siberia. Suck it up Lesean.
Why would u announce or let it leak a full week before… Stupid
Good. If the Bills are going to deal Kiko, it should be for a different Eagle (Nick Foles).
He plays football outside of Pennsylvania 8 games a season…
Chip Kelly is trying to create Oregon East…salary caps don’t win championships, players do and every now and then you have to adjust your ego and scheme to fit special guys(see marshawn lynch). I think Shady is special, we can all agree that McCoy is a young gifted back with at least 4 good seasons of tread left. $10M is steep but tha’s the deal the owner agree to, why not honor it or restructure it to ease some of the cap pain.
He’ll end up going, which is what makes having a source close to you saying you’re frustrated stupid. Great first impression for your Bills teammates!
Good! Stay in Philly!….and give us Kiko back, then we re-sign Spiller who WANTS to be in Buffalo.
Imagine if this were Rex’s Jets
Honestly, who would be excited to go to the Bills?
Players aren’t dumb – they’ve seen the Ryan road show for years and know that that team isn’t going to win squat, the weather couldn’t be any worse, and it’s going to be a long, cold miserable couple of seasons for McCoy until the Bills also figure out that paying a RB this kind of dough makes no sense and cut him.
So LeSean has only played HOME games? He’s never played in an AWAY game before?
Ten million a year. Can’t be picky. Just play
Rex is 46-50. He may be a nice guy that the players love, but Shady’s chance at getting a ring just dropped considerably.
lol @ bufallo bills
Jim Kelly was not happy going to Buffalo and look how that turned out for him.
Please explain to me when Philadelphia is “always” playing for the division title?
It’s not like he is playing ball in Alaska. Grow up Shady
How does that pay cut to stay in Philly sound now?
The first comment is correct. For 10 mil, shut up, show up, and play.
Don’t worry McCoy….
I’m sure the Eagles will have Shady McCoy day when the Bills come to Philly this season
Why am I not surprised?
Way to get off to a great start with your new team, LeSean. Buffalo is one of the few franchises that’s trending “up” right now. A dominant defense and a few missing pieces on offense. Get over yourself.
My team is the most desperate in the NFL (Titans), but if this is actually how you approach things, I don’t want you anywhere near our locker room. More than anything, we need team players.
Sincerely,
Recovering Chris Johnson Fan
It’s not Buffalo he doesn’t want to play for! He doesn’t want to play for the loser Ryan! Big mouth full of BS!
Why does Chip think his players, who couldn’t win a championship in college, would be able to win one in the NFL?
There are better players out there, dude. Not that he ever knew what he was doing on the defensive side of the ball. He should just outsource that entire part of his team and stay out of it; he’d be better off.
I forgot how nice the weather was in Philly
From Ralph Wilson Stadium I crawl to the PA line in 30 mins. Suck it up Shady
The way all these nfl contracts set up do t make sense to me. The players sign a contract where the most money is made in the later years but always seem to get traded or released because they’re number is so high. Being an eagles fan I loved McCoy, will still argue he’s the best in the league but 10.25 million for a rb is too much I’m not happy he’s gone but I’m happy they got a very good player for him as opposed to just releasing him like desean.
Rex causes chaos without even playing one game!
This Eagle fan loves it. The Eagles get rid of their high priced players that don’t live up to their deal. Unlike say the Giants who tag them.
I agree with the 1st commentator 10 mil come on quit being a baby. I’d kill for that kinda green. Take some of these babies and make them work construction or on a assembly line for pennies and see if they bitch so much then. Give me a break.

I don’t think the Eagles leaked this. I’m guessing Buffalo leaked it for exactly this reason. Now they can see if McCoy will show up to camp or if he’ll cause a problem. This gives them a chance to back out.
Thats what Lady GAGA gets for leaving a fiddddy cent tip !
He also played football in New York for one year before decommiting from MIAMI and going to Pitt. I don’t think the location is the issue. I think it might be the team and the lack of ability to chose where he went.
Hey donk, there’s a big world out there you’ve never experienced if you have to play and work in PA….grow up, you sound like a teenager!
Rex: oh ya, by the way Lesean we’re moving to Toronto in a year or two……welcome aboard.

Since McCoy was an Eagle in 2009 they either won the division or were in the hunt late in the season in 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2014. They were pretty bad in 2011 and 2012.
Well, he probably needs to get over it. Chip didn’t want you, and you should have seen as much a year ago when Jackson got cut.
He prefers Toronto.
The unamed source is his good old agent Drew.
BILLS @ EAGLES THIS COMING SEASON
Eagles got the best of it in that deal CLEARLY:
1. Dump a 10MIL/yr RB in league for 7 seasons;
2. Pick up great young LB for about 9MIL/yr in salary cap hit.
The System makes Kelly’s players. He can find another McCoy without much effort.
another espn reporter with a “sourced” report.
Haven’t we learned not to trust these?
Fine. Blow it up. 10 mil for a RB is way too much. It also takes up too much of the salary cap to fill other needs.
If McCoy was worth 10 million he’d still be an Eagle. Darren Sproles performed better than McCoy virtually the entire year.
Eagles fans may not want to hear this, but the minute Sproles started scoring TD’s, McCoy was always going to be traded or cut.
There’s only one person to blame and that’s McCoy. If he played better last year, he would still be an Eagle.
Hmmm a player doesn’t want to play for a Clown show??? That is shocking…
Its ok Shady, its not like the entire offense is depending entirely on you carrying it on its back or anything… Whats not to like???
And remember kids, always tip your waitress’ or they’ll spit in your food and make you look like a fool on twitter…
When he becomes THE entire offense, he’ll be fine
@billswillnevermove McCoy has been in the NFL since 2009. Eagles competed for the division, finishing in second, still making the playoffs. 2010, they won the division. 2011 finished second in the division, still competing. 2012 was a terrible year. 2013 they won the division. 2014 they finished second competing for the division for the majority of the season.
So yes, since McCoy has been in the league, the Eagles have been winning divisions or contending for divisions every year but one. Not to mention.
Not to mention from 2000-2008 they made the playoffs 7 times, winning the division 5 times. So yea, I would say for the most part, they are always winning or competing for the division title.
McCoy sounds like a big baby. Your being paid handsomely; so go and work where your getting paid.
Like most of the people in America.
When you are a super special like Lesean it is easy to make about thirty million over three years in any city really . Probably much more .
He might not feel like giving Buffalo his special presence . He will have to stare out at the sky and give it deep thought and reflection .
First of all, when is he not complaining? Secondly, I think Chip Kelly is more interested in dumping his salary to give them more flexibility in signing other players. I agree with several other posters on here–he’s not worth $10M. I don’t think any RB is worth that now with the passing rules the way they are.
The thing that disturbs me is Kelly’s apparent desire to fill his roster with his former college players. I remember Steve Spurrier did the same thing when he was coach of the Redskins and we all know where that got him.
He may not be happy but I’m sure he’s not unhappy enough to give up his $10M salary. If he were on the open market, I doubt he’d get anywhere close to that. Again, not a slight on McCoy as much as it is on the devaluing of RBs. Plus, you can always get one in the draft and even in the later rounds. This year’s RB class is pretty deep. I’m actually surprised Rex is willing to pick up that contract.
This Eagle fan loves it. The Eagles get rid of their high priced players that don’t live up to their deal. Unlike say the Giants who tag them.
um, led the league in rushing over the past 5 years… how has he not lived up to his deal?
COntrary to popular belief, you are not that much closer to a Super Bowl than Buffalo is….
Your franchise and mine really parallel each other.. we lose Super Bowls, and you are losers of NFC Championship games. Well, you did choke in that one Super Bowl, so yeah, we have been there before. Stop acting like you are light years ahead of us, when the reality is that Buffalo is a good qb away from being a Super Bowl contender. The fact that we could give you Kiko should tell you where are defense is…
oh and I love the Pats clown above who couldnt even spell Buffalo correctly. I expect nothing less from a classless organization, city and fanbase.
There are only 2 teams in Penn – 1 doesn’t want him & the other has LeVeon Bell, who isn’t going anywhere —if he wants to play football, get used to the idea of playing outside of Penn…although I think the Philadelphia Soul have an opening at RB…?
The Bills have questions at QB and Rex “ground and pound” at HC. Lots of yards available for the running back in Buffalo.
The real pressure here is on Ryan. He was the recipient of last year’s blockbuster trade in Percy Harvin to his Jets, but ol’ Rex could not build a winning team in spite of that. Now he is this years recipient of another blockbuster deal, and if he does not go better than 9-7, the record of last years Bills, he will be deemed a failure yet again.
I get more Bills games on four tv stations then I could ever want to see.

Even further than that, since 99 the Eagles have either won or been in the hunt for the division every single year except for 3. So in 16 seasons they have had 3 bad ones. Only other teams like this are the Pats and Steelers.
This whole thing reeks of Rosenhaus. His client got traded to a team he doesn’t want to play for, Rosenhaus leaks the info then claims the deal isn’t final yet and then leaks that McCoy doesn’t want to play in Buffalo. He’s hoping to force someone’s hand to get a release and cash in on another new contract for McCoy. It’s pitiful.
Does the source even know where Buffalo is? If he wants to go go home to Pennsylvania its a 90 min drive down the 90…im not trusting one of his posse members who was speaking to Josina Anderson of all people. This is a big to do about nothing.
Can’t blame him. He should say send me to the greatest franchise the New England patriots
I would love to see him and Murray on the same team. That would be something
“The reality is buffalo is a goodQB away from being a super bowl contender”
———————————
So says every team, every year for the past 5 decades
No trade. McCoy will take a pay cut to stay in Philly, Eagles get what they really want and Buffalo makes the league aware that Alonso is up for trade. All business.
Who could blame him not wanting to go to that place? Buffalo isn’t exactly South Beach or California.
They have to go through with the trade. You can’t let the inmates run the asylum.
Kiko + Spiller (if it happens) > McCoy.
Chip deserves props if he can actually pull this deal off.
“No trade. McCoy will take a pay cut to stay in Philly, Eagles get what they really want and Buffalo makes the league aware that Alonso is up for trade. All business.”
And every player in the Eagles locker room will know that the GM isn’t actually in charge. Buffalo is free to let everyone know Alonso is available in a trade whenever and however they please without having a trade blow up in their faces.
Has Chip Kelly ever won anything? I dont know why the Eagles are giving him so much control. His moves are going to hurt the franchise for a long time. His way didnt work in college and its not going to work in the NFL.
10.25 mil? Quit whining, shut up and pack your bags..
McCoy is from Harrisburg, PA which is 105 miles from Philadelphia, or a 1 1/2-2 hour drive. He went to school in Pittsburgh which is 204 miles away from Harrisburg which is a 3-3 1/2 hour drive. He now goes to Buffalo which is 284 miles away or a 4 1/2-5 hour drive. It’s not like they sent him to Oakland. I’m sure he can handle it. And his beloved Pennsylvania is only an hour drive away. He can visit anytime.
If Chip is looking for an MLB coming off a torn ACL, I’m sure the Lions would give up Tulloch.
McCoy is a bad dude. No respect for women, including his kids mom, no respect for wait staff. He has acted like an entitled jerk most of his life. Karma.
That is stupid reason. Face the facts Philly doesn’t want you and Pittsburgh is more than fine with Bell so that means if you want to play football it will have to be outside of Pennsylvania!
ok.. option “B”…. retire!
It’s true, McCoy isn’t the greatest human being. The city of Buffalo could put him on the right track.
He should quit wining. At least this coach wants you and they are going to give you the ball. Chip wasn’t going to do that for you.
I can’t blame him. I wouldn’t want to go to Buffalo either. The only thing it has going for it is Niagara Falls, which is 30 miles outside the city. It’s a cold, miserable, depressing place.
YES!!!!!!!!! Keep making a stink McCoy make the trade fall apart then the Bills can trade the Bears for Matt Forte and maybe even Jay Cutler
If the trade doesn’t go through, all the Eagle fans saying that McCoy is old and that it’s a good deal will all of a sudden talk about how great McCoy is…
Personally, I’d be happy to get away from Chip Kelly…I know he had one year of success but he seems like a bit of a nut job and this practice of trading away pieces to stockpile Oregon players reminds me of Redskins Spurrier…
Please explain to me when Philadelphia is “always” playing for the division title?
——-
Thumbs up. At least Buffalo historically makes it to Super Bowls before flaming out, unlike the Eagles who usually choke by the Conference Championship game…
Why? They’re the only team that likes him enough to pay him $10.25 million and you know they’re gonna use him a lot since they don’t have a QB. Seems like a RB’s dream to me…
Get over it LeSean
Poor baby. So you want to make 10 mil AND dictate where you get to play? Newsflash: there are millions of people who would gladly trade places with you.
RB is a devalued position – you are extremely lucky to find an employer who thinks that it is worth what you are getting paid. Frankly, I think the Bills are fools for getting rid of a promising defensive player who is still on his rookie deal for an RB who will likely never again put up the same numbers that he did a few seasons ago. This smells like a panic move by the Bills who know that their QB situation is dire.
BuffaLOL!!!!
Shady,
You should have had a no trade clause in your contract. Now you should know if you refuse you will have to find a new team and a salary. If you do this, everyone calling you immature will then resort to inviting you on your search for a new home.
I hate losing McCoy as much as every other Eagles fan, but if Kiko gets back to where he was two seasons ago I think Philly is winning on this trade since the defense has been crap. And since Chip is stockpiling Oregon players you know that we’ll see more. We already have Kenyon Barner on the team and Lemichael James was let go last season by the 49ers. That’s two cheap options that already know Chips system.
I hope this source is accurate. The Bills should keep Kiko. The Bills will show both 3-4 and 4-3 this season. We absolutely have a use for Kiko. The Bills already made their splash hire when they got Rex Ryan. We really need some smart decisions. Upgrade one more spot on the OL, draft a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round to complement Fred Jackson, and bring in a FA QB (Hoyer?) to compete with EJ. If the OL is good, and the Defense dominates, it will set up our run-game regardless of who our RB is.
McCoy is a really good RB, but so is Spiller and he didn’t get it done behind our OL last year.
Players demanding/refusing things is so annoying… Teams need to just give players back the default answer that they always give when holding out for more money, “It’s a business”

They’ve either won the division or have been within 1 game of winning the division in 10 out of the past 15 seasons. And that doesn’t count last year, when the division was on the line when they played Dallas in Week 15, so they were playing for the division that year too.
So of course, they’re not always playing for the division title. But 11 out of the past 15 seasons they have been, and that’s a helluva lot better than most teams, and much better than what the Bills have been doing.
Does it matter no ring in Philly and we all know how things go in Wide Rightville
Take the money and shut up or get a job in Philly doing the only other thing you can
Do you want fry with that
I agree with the 1st post! Mama fire up the stove, cry baby soup for Shady!!!
Over the past 15 seasons:
Eagles
145-94-1
10 playoff appearances
10 playoff wins
7 division titles
5 conference championship game appearances
1 Super Bowl appearance
Bills
97-143
0 playoff appearances
0 playoff wins
0 division titles
0 conference championship game appearances
0 Super Bowl appearance
No wonder he’s not happy.
If McCoy is smart he’ll gladly play for the Bills under his current contract, because that’s the last year he’ll likely come close to that number.
Personally, I don’t believe the current wisdom that RBs are interchangeable and don’t need to be paid. Most of them are, sure, within certain limits. But a great RB is hard to come by. If you can find a guy who can also catch passes reliably out of the backfield, or even line up in the slot on occasion, that player is worth paying, within reason.
Unfortunately, part of the problem is teams are lucky to get a few good/great years out of a back these days. 30 is now washed up. 28 is seen as prime, but on the wain. So hard to tell when a guy is going to decline.
You mean he doesn’t want to play for the “REAL New York team” (aka the one that plays in the 51st largest media market)?
I can’t see why Buffalo isn’t an attractive place to play being that it’s a mere 400 miles away from the fun New York City nightlife.
If McCoy doesn’t want to drive 12 hours to Manhattan, it’s only a 3 hour drive to Cleveland. With Buffalo, the possibilities are endless!
Buffalo is way more similar to Pittsburgh than Philadelphia.
Philly is East Coast. The other two cities have a different mentality altogether. Anyone familiar with all 3 know exactly what I’m talking about.
So the whole ‘Pennsylvania’ thing is a bit bogus.
I always love how quickly Eagle fans turn on their old favorite players as soon as the front office gets rid of them. It’s like clockwork. No other fan base does it better.

……………………….
When will you learn when people call it the real NY team it’s not in reference to NYC, it’s in reference to NYS. Contrary to the opinions of the undeservedly arrogant NYC area residents, there is an entire state of NY outside of NYC that wants nothing to do with being associated with NYC. Buffalo is it’s own city, it’s own region, with it’s own nightlife and it’s own culture and no one even considers NYC to have any relation to it, whatsoever.
But I suppose you can fall back on the 20 year expired “Buffalo is a dump and miserable” stereotypes, despite the fact it’s been named on countless lists in the past 2 years distributed by reputable media outlets which name it as an up and coming city, ripe with exciting new cultural, economic and social developments. I suppose you can also ignore the fact that countless Bills alumni, including those who never wanted to come here (Jim Kelley, for example) stayed here permanently after their careers ended.
Also your 51st largest media market #s are skewed- they don’t factor in Rochester, which is for all intents and purposes part of the Bills market, or St Catherines and Niagara Falls ON. When you consider all of those combined as the Bills total market (because in reality, it IS), it jumps into the top half of the league.
Aside from all of that, though- you’re spot on!
He doesn’t want to come here because the Bills suck the last 15 and he’s under the delusion and he’s under the impression he can get more money. End of story.
Let this be a lesson to Eagle players in NOT shooting your mouth off in the media. Jackson and now McCoy going to be gone. 2 players that were talkers…This is Chip Kelly’s team, not any 1 players.
So he’s never played football outside of Pennsylvania? Who was in his uniform for all those road games?

I guess leading the league in rushing the first year and being third his second year of his new contract is not living up to their deal? Do you watch football?
McCoy loves having his azz kissed and Rex loves kissing azz so I see a marriage made in heaven.
He’s clueless.
He wants to make the max dollars and play where he wants. Those two things are often mutually exclusive.
Don’t worry. They were already figuring out the Eagles offense last year and it’s going to become worse if Shady leaves. Got rid of the headaches and your best players on offense.
Hi Buffalo, you’ll love this guy. just don’t ever let him talk or think because he tends to be really annoying and you’ll start to not like him
I feel sorry for people who have never lived outside of their immediate area or ever left their area for travel. Such insular living leads to narrow-minded views about culture and other people.
With 2.5 million, and a really decent nightlife,I’m sure slim will find Toronto enjoyable.
An hour and change from Buffalo. Yes,the possibilities are endless.
With the horrendous performance by the Bills Oline last year, I don’t blame McCoy for not wanting this trade to happen.
Next year, Shady’s contract is not guaranteed. Only posturing to redo that. All players like playing for Rex.
For all the guys complaining that the Eagles did not get enough in return, what part of ‘salary dump’ do you not understand?

The Pats also dropped 28 on the seahawks. The Pats dominated everyone last year after week 4, with the Packers and their 2nd stringers vs Buffalo being the lone exceptions.
If you watched the Bills the rest of the year, it’s pretty obvious they were dominant at times and they were the only reason Buffalo was 9-7 and not 5-11. Even good defenses have bad games.

McCoy is also 26 years old. He’s a year younger than the prized Demarco. He’ in his prime. He’s coming off of a 1300+ yard season which everone was calling a “down” year.
I’d love a 26 year old RB on my team who can rush for 13000 yards and have that referred to as a down year.

Hail to the Redskins
People don’t seem to understand. Buffalo is not going to get nearly the same amount of yards out of McCoy that Philadelphia did. Not even close. It’s the system. McCoy ran through huge holes mostly, with the occasional cut back in the open field that left everyone with their jaw dropped. But he also dances too much and gets dropped for losses on first and second down, setting up obvious passing situations on third down, which puts pressure on the quarterback.
McCoy plays great against defenses with linebackers who are slow and can’t get to the sideline (Giants) but against teams with stellar linebackers who can run (Panthers) he really struggles.
The real reason he doesn’t want to go is because of RRs offensive game plans are just that.
Find 10.25 million on the open market….if he is cut…do you think he will only sign a one year deal?
He will get at least a 40 million+ dollar deal for 5 years. He is only 26
@phillyboypat5
Rookie Year – 2009 637 yards – 308 rec yards
2010 “the year of the franchise player, Michael Vick” LOL – 1,080 yards on 207 carries 5.2 ypc avg – 592 rec yards
2011 – 1,309 yards on 273 carries, 4.8 ypc ave – 17 TD’S, 315 rec yards
2012 – ANDY’s last year – 840 yards on 200 carries – 4.2 ypc avg – 373 rec yards (NO OFFENSIVE LINE)
Chip Kelly- McCoy Era
2013 1607 yards on 314 carries, 5.1 ypc avg – 537 rec yards
2014 – 1319 on 312 carries, 4.2 ypc avg – 155 rec yards.
By carries, TD’s & YPC – McCoy did better with Andy, not Chip. So the “system” excuse Eagle fans want to use now is really funny. He’s a 26 year old franchise RB that will have fantastic years under Rex & a more conventional offense.
Watch the Eagles – Lions game in the snow a few years back. McCoy was the only player that looked like he could move in the snow, literally like he was the only one running. A hell of an athlete, the Eagles are dumb for shopping him.

Guess that’s why the Giants have more Superbowl wins in the last ten years than any team in the league. Philly has how many in their history? LOL.
best player doesn’t even want to be there.

Buffalo is about 75 miles from the Pennsylvania border. I don’t think location is his big concern.
That said, while he is free to grumble a little at first, after the first couple of days, stop whining and be happy any team is paying you that much money. And, don’t blow it all, so you end up bankrupt in 5-10 years like far too many players.
It looks like the BILLS have traded for Matt Cassell from the VIKINGS too.
The year hasnt even officially begun and the Bills have been busy!
This just in, no one is happy going to Buffalo, absolutely nobody.
@joetoronto: perhaps he would happier signing with Toronto’s franchise. Oh yeah, that “sure thing” didn’t work out, did it?
Football players, hockey players, shoppers, nobody wants to go to Buffalo.
The very minute shady said he would restructure his deal but noy6take a penny less…Chip was shopping him. McCoy is a great RB but, he doesnt fit Chip’s offence. Its an uptempo offense. So when shady does his usual dance in the backfield looking for 80 yards instead of taking the 5 they gave him then dropped for a loss. It pisses Chip off. Now instead of 2 and 5. Its 2 and 14. Plus, all his noise for 11 mill a year. No thanks.
Bills are playing the compensatory game. Let Spiller go, trade for McCoy. Rather than sign Hoyer or Sanchez, trade a low round pick for Cassell. Depending on Hughes and Searcy, should result in some compensatory picks. Seems like the Bills are willing to gamble on the DL being the main factor of the DEF. They gambled and won last year with Bird, let it ride!
“when you think of Buffalo you think of cold and losing games.”
Yup!! This had me laughing out loud!!!
The minute “Shady” started mouffin’ off, you knew he was a goner… just like D-Jax. Some guys just never learn lol
Someday show this clown a map…Harrisburg is an hour further from Buffalo than Philly is.
I don’t get when fans talk about honoring contracts. If the contract says the player can be cut at this time for this much money and then gets cut, then that means they honored the contract. The only way to not honor a contract is to do something a contract doesn’t allow.
Anyway that flawed argument is irrelevant in this situation anyway. McCoy’s contract is being “honored” otherwise they wouldn’t have the ability to trade him to the Bills.
If anything McCoy is the one who supposedly isn’t going to honor his contract. Its being reported that he is trying to rework his contract to get more guarantees from the Bills for the last 2 years of his contract, and if he doesn’t get it he will try to kill the trade by not showing up. Even though under the contract they signed the eagles have every right to trade him, and also under the contract he signed he’s required to show up to practices and ota’s.
So let’s not cry for McCoy he knew exactly what was in the contract he and his scumbag agent was signing. I don’t remember hearing him complain when he was cashing a multimillion dollar signing bonus.
Desperate moves from a losing franchise…. some cant get out of their own way.
Remember wide right folks.
Once a loud mouth. Always a loud mouth.
Does the trade include a stipend for diapers for this big baby?
Joetoronto, I heard you were Buffalo with Kim Mitchell and Rob Ford looking for Doug Flutie jerseys

Over the past 15 seasons:
Eagles

10 playoff appearances
10 playoff wins

5 conference championship game appearances
1 Super Bowl appearance
Bills

Best comment of the day. See haters don’t like when we use stats that are true or make sense. But its ok for them to use stats against us
@giantschamps
How dare you bring up the Eagle fans kryptonite…Super Bowl wins, ESPECIALLY Giant SB wins. While Eagle fans bow to a college coach that couldn’t even win a National Title, while they celebrate regular season wins, division titles & championship game losses, successful NFL franchises celebrate Lombardi Trophies.

Please explain to me when Philadelphia is “always” playing for the division title?
———————————————————-they’ve won the division like 6 0r 7 times since 2000, and have been close other years so…..
Patriots fans are scared. By the way who was the last team to beat you guys this past season? Oh yeah….the Bills. Keep cheating. How are you guys gonna get out of cap trouble this offseason? You guys have had your time, now it’s over. When Brady retires you guys are done. Go Bills.
For $10,000,000.00, I’d hit my grandma in the face with a snow shovel.
No doubt because his production for at least the first 8-10 games of last season was subpar. I can see why you’d cut bait on an older RB with declining production – even if I don’t agree with it.

When Brady retires, you’ll still be looking for a QB.
Try getting a real job…..nuff said
“Why would anyone wanna go play for Buffalo?”
Well, last year they were ONE game away from the playoffs. The moves they have made this offseason has ALL been improvements to the people that were in those positions last year……
MCcoy over Spiller/Jackson…….Matt Cassell over Kyle Orton……Richie Incognito vs a YOUNG offensive line…….Greg Roman over Nathan Hacket as offensive coordinator…….Sexy Rexy over Doug Marrone……..
The Bills are making moves while other teams are not
I feel the same way when the Bills are on Thursday night football, I just don’t want to go there.
I can’t believe..this is the AFC Norths turn to play the AFC Least and somehow we aren’t playing them. Hmmm…why is that? Oh must be Brady’s last year, so they give him a soft schedule.
I can’t blame Shady…surely you saw Buffalo this winter, even though, in fairness to Buffalo they weren’t playing when the weather was worst – during playoff season!
