The Lions might be working on bigger business, but they’re taking care of some smaller details today.
They announced they had re-signed quarterback Kellen Moore, who was scheduled to become a restricted free agent.
Moore hasn’t thrown a pass in the NFL yet (which is good news, considering what they have invested in Matt Stafford).
But they apparently feel the former Boise State star worth hanging onto, for something far less than the restricted free agent tender.
