The Titans won’t have to worry about finding a new punter this offseason.

Assuming Brett Kern keeps doing a good job, they won’t have to worry about finding one for the next few seasons either. The team announced that they have signed Kern to a multi-year deal before the start of free agency.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that it is a five-year, $15 million pact for Kern, who has been the Titans’ punter since 2009. Kern is the team’s all-time leader in gross and net punting average and he set a new club record for net average in 2014 with 40.8 yards per kick.

Kicker Ryan Succop and long snapper Beau Brinkley remain on track to become free agents, so there may still be changes to come on special teams in Tennessee.
