The Seahawks are rem-making their tight end position, and brought back one of the complementary pieces.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Seahawks have agreed to a one-year deal to keep tight end Anthony McCoy.
McCoy has missed the last two years after offseason Achilles injuries, and caught just 31 passes from 2010-12.
The Seahawks cut Zach Miller Friday, and veteran Tony Moeaki is due to become an unrestricted free agent tomorrow.
That leaves Luke Willson, Cooper Helfet and RaShaun Allen on the depth chart with McCoy. While Willson has shown some flashes, the Seahawks clearly want to upgrade the position.
