As one starting offensive lineman arrives, the Chargers are saying goodbye to another starter.

According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Chargers are releasing left guard Chad Rinehart.

The 29-year-old Rinehart started 26-of-27 games in two seasons with San Diego. He was set to make $3.15 million in salary next season, per NFLPA records.

Earlier Tuesday, the Chargers made official the addition of Broncos guard/tackle Orlando Franklin, who played left guard for Denver in 2014.

Before joining San Diego, Rinehart had stints with Washington (2008-2009) and Buffalo (2010-2012). He could appeal to clubs looking for experienced interior-line help.
