The Rams found themselves a new quarterback, and they’re hanging onto to one of their existing pass-catchers in hopes of helping him.

According to Mike Silver of the NFL Network, the Rams are expected to have a deal with wide receiver Kenny Britt wrapped up soon.

Britt’s still young enough to be dealing on potential, and after leading the team (!) with 748 receiving yards last year, they obviously wanted to try him with a healthy starting quarterback.

The former first-round pick of the Titans also played 16 games for the just the second time in his career last year, and showed the ability to make plays downfield (15.6 yards per catch).
