Chris Canty is back in Baltimore.
Canty, the veteran defensive lineman who was cut by the Ravens three weeks ago, has signed a new two-year deal with the team. The deal was first reported by Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News and has been confirmed by the team.
There’s no immediate word on the financials of the new contract, but he has apparently decided to take less money than the Ravens would have paid him under his previous contract. Canty started 11 games for the Ravens last season.
Canty drew interest from the Seahawks and Jets during his three weeks as a free agent.
