The NFL veteran combine has led to another contract for one of its participants.

The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday night they have signed cornerback Deveron Carr following his performance in the combine on Sunday in Arizona.

Carr spent his rookie season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013 where he appeared in nine games while serving on special teams. Carr signed with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State.

Carr started 34-of-42 career games at Arizona State (2008-2012) and finished with 86 tackles, 22 passes defensed, three fumble recoveries, 2.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions. As a senior in 2012, he earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention after starting all 13 games and recording 23 tackles, eight passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and an interception.

Carr joins wide receiver Nathan Slaughter as players to sign contracts after performing in the veteran combine. Slaughter signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
