Aaron Rodgers will test his mind on Celebrity Jeopardy

AP

Whether he’s tweaking a division rival (or not) or photobombing his teammates, we’ve established that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a sharp sense of humor.

Now we’ll get a chance to see how he fares at America’s favorite game of trivia, luck and skill.

Via Awful Announcing, Rodgers has taped an episode of Celebrity Jeopardy, which will air May 12.

He’ll appear alongside Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary and retired astronaut Mark Kelly.

While it will be interesting to see how he fares with the real Alex Trebek, we’d still rather see him up against Sean Connery and Turd Ferguson on Saturday Night Live.

  1. I’ll take “Great NFC Championship game chokes” for $200 Alex”.

Answer: “This team, which 16-0 at halftime, blew a 12 point lead with less than three minutes left in the game, and lost in overtime”.

Rodgers will not press his answer button.

  2. I met AR when he was still a backup QB in GB. As they say, you only get once chance to make a good first impression, and he did just that.

    He’s a gentleman.

  3. Oh man seeing him square off with SNL’s Connery would be amazing. Those were hands down the best skits SNL ever did.

  4. There better be a category like “Quarterbacks named Favre” or “Minnesota Professional Football Teams”

  5. Viking trolls bringing their “A” game today. Unfortunately, it is similar to their team’s “A” game… Not very good. I would expect better with this one tee’d up so perfectly for you.

  6. Arron: I’ll take NFL football for 200 please.

Alex: What team is constantly playing outside the rules and are allowed to break the rules without punishment?

    Arron: Patritots

    Alex: Correct

Arron: I”ll take Spygate for $1000 please.

  7. A: 14.0 PSI

Q: What is the illegal amount of air pressure the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers likes to inflate footballs to?

  8. aaron rodgers went to cal berkley the equivalent of an ivy school .none of these idiot moron viking trolls could get high enough sat scores to get into that school. he will handle jeopardy like he handles the vikings defense .

  9. Rodgers is a sharp dude, but I’d have preferred to go up against Paris Hilton and Pauly Shore rather than an astronaut and a multi-millionaire business guy.

  10. Good practice for Aaron’s next gig, as his playing days grow shorter with each yearly playoff loss.

  11. If his two opponents on Jeopardy are anything like the Minnesota Vikings, he will not only win handily but it might not be necessary to show up after halftime.

  12. A: This team fails to be competitive despite considerable talent, and is essentially an NFC North afterthought.

Q: What is the Minnesota Vikings?

  13. To everyone hating on the Packers losing in overtime in the NFC Championship game, at least they made it there! Let alone the playoffs…Not to mention, also, being the only team that made the playoffs last year heading into the off-season thats in the top 10 amount of cap space to spend. AND, we have the reigning MVP? I’m not worried. Screensaver Minnesota, and see ya next year Seattle come January (if you make it that far).

  14. And every time he gives a wrong answer he will either glare at a WR, OL or Coach in the audience or grab his ankle.

My money is on grab his ankle because he does that on and off the field with regularity.

  15. well, if the opposing players have a ‘top 5’ defensive mind then he will fail like he always does in the playoffs.

Queens fans wih they had a player this great and this classy!

You can say he’s a great player, and I’ll never argue with you. But, if we are being honest, Rodgers is an arrogant DB. There is absolutely nothing classy about him. Some QB’s win with class. Rodgers is not one of them. If he somehow manages to win, and pulls the same crap he does in the NFL, that ex-astronaut is bound to punch him in the face.

Here’s the deal…Packer fans spend all year telling the world that it only matters if you win it all. And now you’re going to tell us “well, at least we made the playoffs…”? And, having cap space is only beneficial if your team actually signs players and uses said cap space.

Your team beat a team by 3 that was playing a rookie QB, a 3rd string RB, missing all pro TE, missing 3/5ths of their o-line, missing their top two LB’s…

You should just stick to saying you won. Anything more and you just sound foolish.

  19. “Our Final Jeopardy answer is ‘Hell will freeze over.'”

Aaron’s question – “What will happen before the Vikings win their first World Championship?”

    Correct!!

    ………………………………………………………………………………………….

You are selling the Vikings short. That was a pair of signature wins last year. I mean, sweeping a franchise that has all of those division titles and playoff appearances………

Queens fans hate ARod because he beats them. The guy raises money for people, praises teammates and coaches, raises awareness for different causes, visits sick children, and carries himself well off the field! That’s classless! ::sarcasm::

He also supports the Badgers, a team from his adoptive state and handles the criticism with class and has forgiven Brett Favre for the way he treated him so disrepectfully. He has more class than most Queens fans no wonder they’re jealous!

Meanwhile AP beats his son, Zygi Wilf is convicted of fraud and Vikings fans cheered and taunted when a class act like ARod was injured, that’s classless!

It was embarrassing when Aaron couldn’t get the answer to “this number comes between 5 and 7.” ———————————————————————————————————————————————————— thats easy… its the same number of superbowl trophys the vikings have!!! wait its not zero… oh i got it! its the same number of off seasons the vikings won!!!

  23. With all due respect to the person who said Aaron Rodgers must be very intelligent because he went to Cal……..food for thought, Marshawn Lynch & Pacman Jones also went to Cal. Just sayin’……..
