A free agent offensive lineman with a good deal of NFL starting experience will reportedly miss the first four games of the 2015 season.

Eben Britton, who played 10 games for Chicago in 2014, has received a four-game ban from the NFL, Howard Balzer of The Sports Xchange reports.

The policy under which Britton was suspended was not specified in the report.

The 28-year-old Britton has appeared in 60 games in six NFL seasons, making 34 starts. He played his first four seasons with Jacksonville (2009-2012) before moving on to Chicago for two seasons. He has experience at tackle and guard.
