Report: Paul Posluszny agrees to contract extension with Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have extended the contract of middle linebacker Paul Posluszny.

According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, Posluszny has agreed to a one-year contract extension with the Jaguars.

Posluszny was already under contract with the team for the next two seasons. The new deal would keep him under contract through the 2017 season.

Posluszny appeared in just seven games for Jacksonville last season before a torn pectoral ended his season. Posluszny recorded 69 tackles with two sacks in those seven games. He had recorded at least 110 tackles in each of his previous six seasons, three each spent with Jacksonville and the Buffalo Bills.
