Jaelen Strong won’t be at medical re-check this weekend

With the league holding its medical re-check for players who weren’t 100 percent healthy at the NFL Scouting Combine, a number of questions will be answered this weekend.

But at least one player will be answering them on his own.

A league source tells PFT that Arizona State wideout Jaelen Strong won’t be at the re-check because of scheduling conflicts.

The folks at the Scouting Combine have updated his medical status and passed the information along to teams via the normal combine channels, though he won’t be appearing in Indianapolis this weekend for an extra poking and prodding, such as the one running back Todd Gurley will get.

There have been questions about the condition of Strong’s injured wrist, including reports that he’d need surgery, though he denies that.

If teams are convinced he’s well, he’s a solid first-round prospect, who has drawn interest from a number of teams including the Eagles.
