A defensive end/outside linebacker prospect who’s thought to have a shot at being selected in the later rounds of the draft has reportedly suffered a broken foot in a workout with an NFL club.

Montana’s Zack Wagenmann is expected to miss eight weeks or more with the injury but is likely to be ready for training camp, ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported Thursday. It wasn’t immediately known with which club Wagenmann was working when he suffered the injury.

Wagenmann (6-3, 247) notched 37.5 sacks in four seasons with Montana, including 17.5 as a senior. His 37.5-inch vertical jump was third among defensive ends at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine.
