For the first time in franchise history, the 49ers have alternate uniforms. And the jerseys and pants borrow one of the primary colors of the other team that plays in the Bay Area.
The 49ers unveiled on Thursday night all black uniforms, with black jerseys and black pants. The jerseys include red numbers.
Teams can wear their alternate uniforms up to twice per year. There’s a chance some fans will prefer that the 49ers wear them zero times in 2015.
