Unless he wins appeal, Tom Brady will return against Colts

NFL: Divisional Round-Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots

Sometimes it’s almost like the league planned these things in advance.

While Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has the right to appeal, as it stands, he’s suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season.

And if it’s not shortened, he’ll return in Week Six. Against the Colts.

You know, the team which raised the question to the league as to whether the balls Brady were throwing were legal. And the team which Brady proceeded to pummel in the AFC Championship Game.

That game will be on Sunday Night Football on NBC (which lost Brady in the opener against the Steelers), and a few people might turn in to watch.

The timing is as coincidental (of course), as Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy’s 10-game suspension ending just in time for him to play against his old team (the Panthers) on Thanksgiving Day.
