Nothing against America’s favorite tight end and the undisputed Id of the NFL, but it’s not like he was going to match up against Aaron Rodgers on “Celebrity Jeopardy!”
But that doesn’t mean Rob Gronkowski hasn’t found a game show home.
Via FOX Sports, the Patriots tight end and his family are reportedly going to film an episode of “Family Feud” this weekend.
Gronk’s brother Chris broke the news during an appearance on The Sports Hub’s “Toucher & Rich” show, among other festive stories about the first family of offseason fun (you really don’t want to know about the swordfighting).
Frankly, this could be a hoot, as Steve Harvey has rescued the popular game show from the regrettable Louie Anderson and Richard Karn eras, restoring it to somewhere close to its Richard Dawson-hosted heights.
And if they win the fast money, look out. There will be dancing.
